Supermac's Clifden

Hesitant to try this place at first due to its reviews but the less ones seem to be from one year or more ago and mostly about being understaffed. Went here today and it was just fine. I admire them offering so many food options. It feels like a KFC, McDonalds, Burger King and New York Pizza in one. Staff was friendly. Place looked clean. Food was served in about 25 minutes and tasted okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad either. I guess just on par what we would expect from such a place. The large 14 inch pizza is really large and would feed 2 to 3 people easily. The one with barbecue sauce on it has too much bbq sauce on it making it only taste like bbq sauce. Could do with a little less so the other flavors can also be tasted. Free parking in front. Customer toilets available. Pity on the no refill policy on drinks.

Burgers are very good, chicken is as well.
Nice American vibe in an Irish place with Irish quality meat.
Good modern country music on the radio is also a huge plus.
Beats the franchised places by miles.

Looks like it took long time for getting the food, there is no receipt or tracking system for order, so based on this service is so-so and staff are not friendly and not welcoming, just doing job not provide the experience.

It might be the case that this only one option on the Cliffden for teens and small serving the local community
